I Could Have Whirled All Night
I could have whirled all night, and still have begged for more. I could have spread my wings, and done a thousand things, I'd never done before...
OK, we're going to leave the dervish thing for next time;
or maybe the time after that...
So...did you go to Konya? That was the scariest of all the towns we stopped in. All our women had to wear headscarves and long skirts and long sleeves. Wes and I were walking down the street holding hands, and I thought we might get arrested for all the ugly looks we were getting. We immediately moved away from each other. It is the home of the founder of the Dervishes, though, and we went to his museum.
