It's not among the well-known market streets in Paris--Rue Moufftarde, Rue Cler, Rue Montorgeuil, etc.--but one block of Rue Delambre had much of interest, almost everything you'd need, none of the touristy crap.... It was merely one street over from the creperies street, Rue de Montparnasse. Little discoveries like this are part of the fun of Paris and other big cities.
OK, it's not pedestrian only...but there's the butcher |
Fruits and veggies |
Boulangerie/patisserie |
Cheese monger |
Fish and shellfish...I bought oysters here and opened them all with no bloodshed (from me) |
Among the internationals...the Greek shop |
Patisserie |
Now inside the Italian shop |
Almost every neighborhood in Paris has an Italian store, or two... |
Interesting block |
