Cruising The Thames

Our goal for the day, August 15th, was Greenwich and the National Maritime Museum. And what better way to get there, we reasoned, than to take the Uber? The Uber boat. And you thought they just did cars!

We chose as our embarcation point the London Eye Pier, so of
course I tried for a few artsy fartsy iconic shots

We are now underway, watching mudlarkers on the far shore,
she using a metal detector; must be looking for nails

Underside of the current London Bridge

Peering into The City, you can see the bowels of some Bowellist
building

HMS Belfast and Shard

Bad vibes emanating from here

Very bad vibes

City view from another angle

Fish-level view of Tower Bridge

Moving right along as the river meanders

Canary Wharf business district; a sister Uber boat passing...

Big city, London...not even its major skyline

Beyond the Docklands, destinations thin out a bit, and the boat,
a large catamaran, really flies

Until at last it reaches Greenwich and we debark
