More pix from our day in Camden Town...

Now out on the main drag in Camden Town, not sure what this building is, but every window has an old sewing machine in it |
Camden Town "High Street" shops, so to speak |
At Camden Lock, watching a narrow boat do the locks |
They drink a lot of orange juice here |
Back in the market, the crowds have arrived |
Evening attire |

Dr. Martens Mother Store |
Interesting take on churros |
Baguette-long sausage dog |
Even dull shops can be made interesting |
Thought for the day |
Line to get into a reggae brunch at the Electric Ballroom |
Bubble waffle shop |
More, um, interesting pastries |
More vintage; an amazing selection of Burberrys too |
Thus |
Crazy place |
Having done Camden Market we have moved along now to nearby Islington and The Angel--formerly a landmark inn, now a shopping center--and the Camden Passage antiques center |
Where Vicki has found an impressive art nouveau/art deco antiques shop--but decided to wait and see what's in Paris |

Well, I would have loved the sewing machine store! We found a store with machines in every window, but it was a flat-fronted store. The one you photographed looks like it has a rounded front...may just be the camera angle, and it is the same store! We went inside and looked at the machines on shelves from way above our heads to the floor. All old models, but interesting.
