Ascent of Seville Cathedral''s Giralda Tower

Somehow, it never occurred to us to do this in 2010, and we skipped the cathedral entirely in 2013. Now we are avid cathedral tower climbers, especially if there is a ramp or elevator.
Giralda; the original minaret is neatly contained
inside

Subtle warnings

24 stories, I think, via 17 degree ramps like
this

Interesting historical displays en route

And views

The original was Moorish

Memo to self: always time bell tower ascents to avoid summit
during ringing of bells

Alcazar gardens

Orangery, originally ablution area

Bull "fighting" arena

Us, over-exposed

Wes and Cara climbed up to the top. I found a chair and sat on the main floor and crowd watched while they climbed.
