On September11th we drove from our encampment at the Tulalip Casino, north of Everett, into Seattle to spend a day visiting a few sites of interest there. We parked at the downtown convention center and walked about town, first to the spire thing and the Chihuly garden and glass museum, then to Pike Place. For more seafood. The contemporary architecture of Seattle is pretty interesting too.

We both like glass, Vicki more than I, and we have seen plenty, Murano, Nancy, New York...we first saw Chihuly in Las Vegas in 1995, and never miss an exhibit within reach |
