Penelope à Paris

Monday daughter Rebecca and grand-daughter Penelope arrived for their visit with us.
Penelope gets instruction on use of the water fountain in a
nearby kiddie park, as Maman looks on

Bed-time story with Grandpa

Daughters Rachel and Rebecca, dual-selfie

Penelope et Maman at the Champ de Mars;
the Eiffel Tower was the first thing P wanted
to see

Exact replica of the Tour Eiffel, made out of
cafe chairs

On the double-decker carousel

Thus

Looking across the Seine toward the Trocadero, as a boat
carrying two loads of fill dirt glides past; we theorize now
that the fill dirt is actually sand for the Paris Plages, which
open soon

Dressed for Paris

Penelope bites into her first pain chocolat; "chocolate? for
breakfast?" She's sold now on French cuisine

Chantilly cream on speculoos dessert crepe; life is good

Pain chocolat for breakfast sounds wonderful to me, too!
